Robert Rivest

On February 27, 1978, around 8:30 p.m., Robert Rivest, age 26, contacted a friend and asked him to come join him at Taverne Lalonde in Longueuil because he was having problems. Around 9:55 p.m., witnesses went to the police station to report having seen a body lying on the side of route 229 in Varennes. The investigation revealed that the body was that of Robert Rivest and that he had been the victim of a homicide by firearm.
