Alain Lasalle

Alain Lasalle, 40 years old, was the owner of Le Refuge Inn, a room rental establishment located on Lac Saint-Stanislas South Road in Saint-Zénon. Daniel-Yves Sigouin, 49 years old, had been living there for several months. The two men spent the evening of March 28, 2005 together at the Central Hotel, then left the premises around 9:00 p.m., following a call concerning a man who wanted to rent a room.

On 29 March 2005 at around 4:18 a.m., a fire broke out at the hostel. Alain Lasalle and Daniel-Yves Sigouin were found dead in the rubble. The investigation shows that it was a double homicide.
