Chantal Tremblay

On July 29, 1977, Chantal Tremblay, age 16, left her home at 250, rue Oak in Rosemère at around 5:00 p.m. to take a bus operated by the Société de transport de Laval and that was scheduled to leave at 5:30 p.m. Chantal was to meet her sister at Terminus de l’Est in Montreal and then take a bus to Québec. Chantal was seen for the last time when she got off the bus at Terminus Henri-Bourassa in Montréal. She was reported missing later that evening.

Almost two years later, on April 21, 1979, two boys who were walking in a wooded area owned by the Department of National Defence, near 165, rang Saint-François in Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne, discovered human bones on a hill. Analyses were conducted and it was determined that they were the remains of Chantal Tremblay.
