Éric Tremblay

On July 29, 2004, around 3:45 a.m., Éric Tremblay, age 30, was with his spouse in the parking lot of a gas station in Roberval. He was calling a taxi to go back home. It was the weekend of the Traversée du Lac Saint Jean and a supper was being held in the city’s streets to celebrate the event. There was an altercation between the victim and a man aged 40 to 45.

The suspect had short salt-and-pepper hair and thick eyebrows, was approximately 5’9’’ tall and weighed about 170 pounds. He had a sturdy build and wore a white short-sleeved shirt with red Bermuda shorts. In the afternoon of that same day, Éric Tremblay died as a result of the altercation. The suspect has not yet been identified.
