Arlène Comeau

On February 28, 1976, around 1 a.m., a fire broke out in a residence located at 82, rang Constant in Sherrington. The building was a total loss. After searching the site, two bodies were taken out of the rubble.

The investigation and the expert appraisals determined that the bodies were likely those of Roger Fontaine and his spouse, Arlène Comeau.

Since the building was completely destroyed, it was impossible to formally identify the cause of the fire. However, firearm projectiles found in both bodies indicate that the cause of death was criminal in nature.
