On November 8, 1970, 37-year-old Gérald Bourget was found dead in a wooded area of Saint-Colomban. The victim had left his home in Montreal on October 15, 1970. His girlfriend at the time, Marie-Marthe Marinier, was observed leaving their home the next day, on October 16, 1970. The investigation shows that Gérald Bourget was the victim of a homicide. Mrs. Marinier has never been seen since.
