Jean Gravel, age 24, and Jean-Guy Champagne, age 25, were employees of the "Rio" bar in downtown Trois-Rivières. On July 6, 1972, they went to work in the early evening and worked there until closing time. They never returned home and were never seen again. They were reported missing on 10 July 1972. The investigation shows that they were victims of a double homicide.
