Laurence Carpmen

On July 21, 1977, around 7:10 a.m., the owner of a quarry located near Route 158 West in Saint-Canut (county of Mirabel) contacted the Saint-Jérôme police service to inform them that he had just found the body of a young man near his property’s security gate. There were obvious signs of violence on the victim’s face. Although no identity documents were found on him, he was later identified as Laurence Carpmen, age 27, from Montréal.
