On the evening of November 20, 1975, Lawrence (Larry) Corcoran, 37 years old was with some friends. They visited several licensed establishments in the northeastern sector of the city of Terrebonne. At around 3:30 am, part of the group went to the 3 Minutes restaurant located on Mont-Royal Street. After, the majority of the people returned home, except for the victim and another man who drove to Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne in a vehicle.
According to information obtained, Lawrence Corcoran was going to meet two men. On December 9th, 1975, his body was found by two people who were working in a wooded area near the hotel Le Sommet in Terrebonne. He was the victim of a homicide. Lawrence Corcoran was involved with organized crime and was involved in loan sharking, among other things.
