On July 27, 1982, Luce Pouliot, age 18, was reported missing. A family member was to take her to the Sorel bus terminal so that she could go back home in La Tuque. The victim was never seen again. On November 30, 1992, a hunter found bones along the St. Lawrence River in Bécancour. In 2012, an expert biology report confirmed that the bones were those of Luce Pouliot.
