On June 26, 2013 at around 7:30 p.m., Sûreté du Québec police officers from the Lachute station answered a call for gunshots being fired on a street in the municipality of Grenville.
Mario Paquette was the target of those gunshots and was hit several times.
He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Mr. Paquette was in a grey Mercedes C230 when he was murdered.
