On April 30, 2008, Mathieu Beauregard Messier, known by the nickname “Eddy”, left his spouse's residence, in Farnham. He was seen that evening in a few bars around Bedford. Later the same evening, his vehicle was found burned near Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville. Mathieu Beauregard Messier was never seen again.
