Pierre Choinière

On March 29, 1976, at around 4 pm, Pierre Choinière was found dead by a passerby on the Montée Calixa-Lavallée in Verchères. The body was in the snow on the west side of the road. No homes are located near the area. The investigation shows that the victim was attained by firearm projectiles.

Mr. Choinière's father had reported the disappearance of his son, whom he had not seen since the evening of January 18, 1976, at his Longueuil apartment. A friend of the victim spoke to him on the phone on January 19 at around 10:30 pm and everything seemed normal. Mr. Choinière has not been seen since.

A dispute, possibly concerning a debt could be the cause of the murder.
