Rachelle Wrathmall

On June 29, 2007, the body of a young woman, Rachelle Wrathmall, 31, was found in her residence in Lennoxville. There were obvious signs that she had suffered a violent death.

Rachelle Wrathmall had been married since August 2006 to Sow Alpha Oumar Raphiou, originally from Guinea. She was sponsoring him with a view to his being granted Canadian immigrant status. Since Immigration Canada had not recognized Mr. Raphiou's legal status, he was living in the United States, where Ms. Wrathmall visited him. Investigators with the Module des dossiers non-résolus would like to meet with him since he is considered a material witness in this investigation.

At the time of the events, Ms. Wrathmall worked for Revenue Canada and lived at her father's home in Lennoxville.
