On March 22, 1975, René Désilets was found dead on rue Saint-Georges in the county of Drummond. The site is somewhat isolated with fairly dense trees on each side of the street.
The victim had his own business selling garage tools. He had two employees. He had been married for over 10 years and had a 3-year-old daughter. Note also that the victim’s truck was parked on the shoulder, near the place where the body was discovered.
