Theresa Allore, a student at Champlain College in Lennoxville, was reported missing on November 10, 1978. The investigation shows that she was last seen at the college on November 3, 1978. The investigation also shows that she planned to partake in an activity with friends that evening, but never showed up.
On April 13, 1979, her body was found in the Coaticook river, near chemin de la Station, about 1 km from the town of Compton. On April 20, 1979, the victim’s wallet was found on chemin McDonald, about 10 km from the place where her body was found.
At the time, the case was treated as a disappearance. All the leads resulting from the investigation were, and continue to be, studied.
